Veronica CaratanaseProject Management Mentor
Ten years ago I began my career as a psychologist. After a while, I understood that the knowledge I achieved could also be put to use elsewhere, not just by going into private practice. So, I became a PM and I learned how to add a human-centric dimension to the corporate environment and to be the person that team members rely on when they get stuck into their tasks.
My belief is that PM is not only about project charters, breakdown structure, deadlines…it’s also about human interaction, about investing time into getting to know your team members, discovering the best way to motivate and encourage people, about understanding your stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
Until the next milestone comes along, I am a member of the PMI and I work in a cool company where I undertake project management duties.
